IEPA Photo Exhibition in June in Nagoya, Japan

Preliminary event for international convention on biodiversity, COP 10

This year is the International Year of Biodiversity declared by the United Nations, and Nagoya will host the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10) in October. At the conference, over 1,000 participants including experts of government officials, NGOs, companies and universities gather and discuss about biodiversity.

The importance of nature –Bounty of the biodiversity-

Before the Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10) which might take an important role for our future, the IEPA will organize a photo exhibition and lecture by the president, Takashi Amano in Nagoya in cooperation with the host, Toho Gas Co., Ltd. IEPA aims to enlighten the importance of the environmental conservation and protecting biodiversity through the exhibition.
