Shisei Kuwabara, the photographer members of the IEPA, International Environment Photographers Association.

Born in Shimane, Japan in 1936. He published his works about Minamata disease (disease caused by mercury poising) in Tokyo, making his first appearance in photographic society. In his book, "Collective Works of Kuwabara Shisei (total 4 volumes)" collects his main works such as "Minamata," "Korea," "Vietnam," "Russia," and "North Korea."
