Hein Welman

Born in Benoni, South Africa in 1982.Became a photographer based in South Africa for the last 7 years. Motivated by the beauty in nature. He found his passion for photography when searching for a way to enforce his memories of his travels throughout Southern Africa.

"As a nature lover my photography became lately a very emotional matter. Linked to what is busy happening to our world and our influence towards it. All my photographs is a representation of my own experiences and my vision towards nature. I hope you find herewith a connection to our splendid natural world that's long forgotten by most of us."

Title: Dead Acacia Tree

Dead acacia trees scattered over a dried clay pan called "Deadvlei". The pan is surrounded by some of the world's highest sand dunes. This natural phenomenon reminds me to what fate some of our living edens might head to in the near future. Deadvlei, Namib-Naukluft National Park, Namibia
