Daniel Knop, the photographer members of the IEPA, International Environment Photographers Association.

Born in 1957, lives in Germany. he is an author of 24 books and is a chief editor of the German marine aquarist magazine, Koralle, which is translated into Italian, English, Russian, Polish , and French. As a photographer, he specializes in the macro photography and takes marine organisms and natural habitat in the ocean. His works are widely used for commercial and advertisement in the marine and aquarium industry. Recently, the soft coral genus Knopia has been named after him.
